How our exam coaching works
Start with an assessment of your playing and the grade you are considering. Your teacher can help you select pieces and organise technique, listening and other supporting work around the current syllabus. Discuss your target grade, preparation time and assessment format during the demo.
- Choose a suitable syllabus and starting level
- Build a routine around pieces and technical work
- Review your progress and identify the next practice priorities
03
How long does it take to prepare?
Preparation time depends on your starting point, the grade and how consistently you practise. Your teacher can discuss a realistic plan after hearing you play. A target date should allow time to develop confident, repeatable performances rather than rushing to enter.
04
Sitting the exam
Exam routes can include in-person centres and digital submissions. Availability, repertoire and recording requirements depend on the board and syllabus. Check the current rules before booking. Jam and Play prepares students for exams; the exam itself is taken through the board’s approved route.
05
Fees
One-to-one plans start at ₹3,999 a month for four lessons, with Trinity preparation included in the listed private plans. Exam board entry fees are separate. Tell us which board and grade you are considering so we can confirm the coaching arrangements and any additional costs before you enrol.
