Online Guitar Classes in Germany, in English or Hindi
Jam and Play offers online guitar classes in Germany through live, one-to-one video lessons in English or Hindi. Germany is three and a half hours behind India in summer time and four and a half in winter time, so lessons fit in the morning, on weekends and until early evening. Each lesson is 45 minutes. Four lessons cost ₹3,999, and the first 30-minute demo is free.

01
Language first
We don't teach in German. If you want a German-speaking teacher, a local one will serve you better. Lessons here are in English or Hindi, which suits Indian professionals and students living in Germany, and anyone comfortable learning in English.
02
Time zones: summer and winter
Germany moves its clocks back on 25 October 2026. India doesn't change.
In winter, the last slot ends at 5:30 pm, so after-work lessons before 5 pm are possible, with a tight margin. Most students book one of three kinds of slot: an early morning before work, around 7 to 8 am; a weekend morning or lunchtime; or an afternoon slot for those on flexible hours.
A 6 pm weekday lesson isn't possible in winter. If your only free hour is 7 pm, a local teacher is the realistic choice.
Time conversions are shown for standard and daylight-saving time where applicable, using 2026 time-zone rules. A window that crosses midnight spans two calendar days. These are teaching hours, not a list of available 45-minute appointments; confirm your city, date and lesson time before booking.
| Season | German time | Lesson window |
|---|---|---|
| Summer (CEST, until 25 October) | UTC+2 | 5:30 am to 6:30 pm |
| Winter (CET, from 25 October) | UTC+1 | 4:30 am to 5:30 pm |

Who we teach in Germany
Two groups come to us. Indian students and professionals in Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Stuttgart and Cologne, many working in technology or studying at German universities, who want a teacher who understands Hindi film songs. And parents who want to give a child a regular weekend lesson.
Flexible work hours, hybrid weeks and weekend routines make Germany a good fit for a Saturday morning slot. Sunday is quieter in many German cities, so keep volume in mind in apartment blocks, where quiet hours are enforced (Ruhezeiten, usually all of Sunday and weekday nights).

A lesson in practice
You join a link. The teacher watches both hands through your camera and corrects as you play. You get a practice plan of 15 to 20 minutes a day. If you haven't learned online before, how online guitar lessons work covers setup. Beginners learn two open chords in lesson one.

Exams
We teach Trinity and Rockschool syllabi and prepare students for the exam. We aren't an exam centre, and exams in Germany depend on the board, so check availability yourself. German music schools use different grading, and we can't prepare you for it. See exam preparation.
