Online Guitar Classes in Ireland: Dublin, Cork and Galway
Jam and Play offers online guitar classes in Ireland through live, one-to-one video lessons. Ireland is five and a half hours behind India in winter and four and a half in summer, so lessons fall in the morning, at weekends and until late afternoon. Each lesson is 45 minutes. Four lessons cost ₹3,999, and the first 30-minute demo is free with no lock-in.

Irish time and our hours
Ireland moves its clocks back on 25 October 2026. India doesn't change.
Note that Irish Standard Time in summer shares its initials with India Standard Time. We schedule in local Irish time and say so in each booking, so there's no confusion.
In winter, the last slot ends at 4:30 pm. Most children finish school by 3:30 or 4 pm, which leaves a short window, so weekends and early mornings are the dependable choice.
Time conversions are shown for standard and daylight-saving time where applicable, using 2026 time-zone rules. A window that crosses midnight spans two calendar days. These are teaching hours, not a list of available 45-minute appointments; confirm your city, date and lesson time before booking.
| Season | Irish time | Lesson window |
|---|---|---|
| Summer (IST, until 25 October) | UTC+1 | 4:30 am to 5:30 pm |
| Winter (GMT, from 25 October) | UTC+0 | 3:30 am to 4:30 pm |

Who we teach in Ireland
Three groups come to us. Secondary students who want to play for fun alongside school. Adults who work in Dublin's tech and finance sector and book a 7 or 8 am slot before the commute. And Indian families in Dublin, Cork and Galway who want a teacher for Hindi film songs.
If a weeknight evening is the only time you have, we aren't the right fit, and we'd tell you at the demo.
03
Weekday mornings in Dublin
A commuter in Dublin might book 7:30 am, ahead of a train or bus. In winter that's 1 pm in India. Students in Cork or Galway often prefer a Saturday at 10 am. Small towns work equally, because we teach online and you need only a steady connection.
04
A lesson in practice
You join a link. The teacher watches both hands and corrects as you play. You get a practice plan of 15 to 20 minutes a day. How online guitar lessons work covers camera and sound. Beginners learn two open chords in lesson one.

Exams: what applies in Ireland
Irish students often take graded exams through bodies such as the Royal Irish Academy of Music. We don't prepare students for that exam. We teach the Trinity and Rockschool guitar syllabi and prepare students for those, but we aren't an exam centre. Check with your school or the board about availability. See exam preparation.
09
Songs
For Hindi film songs, see Bollywood guitar lessons. Many students also want pop, rock or folk-style strumming.
