Online Guitar Classes in Netherlands
Jam and Play offers online guitar classes in Netherlands through live, one-to-one video lessons in English or Hindi. The Netherlands is three and a half hours behind India in summer time and four and a half in winter, so lessons fit in the morning, at weekends and until late afternoon. Each lesson is 45 minutes. Four lessons cost ₹3,999, and the first 30-minute demo is free.

What the clock allows
The Netherlands moves its clocks back on 25 October 2026. India doesn't change.
In winter, a lesson at 5 pm is just inside our window. Anything later than 5:30 pm Dutch time falls after 10 pm in India, so it isn't possible. Early mornings, weekends and lunch breaks on a hybrid work day are the realistic slots.
Time conversions are shown for standard and daylight-saving time where applicable, using 2026 time-zone rules. A window that crosses midnight spans two calendar days. These are teaching hours, not a list of available 45-minute appointments; confirm your city, date and lesson time before booking.
| Season | Dutch time | Lesson window |
|---|---|---|
| Summer (CEST, until 25 October) | UTC+2 | 5:30 am to 6:30 pm |
| Winter (CET, from 25 October) | UTC+1 | 4:30 am to 5:30 pm |
02
Language
Lessons are in English or Hindi. We don't teach in Dutch. Most Dutch residents are comfortable in English, so this tends not to be an obstacle, but if you want a Dutch-speaking teacher, a local one will suit you better.
03
Who we teach in the Netherlands
Our students include Indian professionals and students in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht and Eindhoven, and Dutch learners who simply want an online teacher. Many live in small apartments in city centres, where practice has to be quiet and limited to sensible hours.
A lunch-hour lesson on a work-from-home day works well for many. If you cycle to the office and have a hybrid week, pick your home day for the lesson and keep the same day each week.
04
Eindhoven and the high-tech belt
Eindhoven and the surrounding region have a large international workforce. People who relocated for work often arrive without a social circle and take up an instrument to fill evenings and weekends. If that's you, a weekly Saturday morning lesson is a gentle commitment, and there's no lock-in, so you can stop whenever you like.
05
How a lesson works
You join a link. The teacher watches your hands through your camera and corrects as you play. You get a practice plan of 15 to 20 minutes a day. How online guitar lessons work covers camera angle and sound. Beginners learn two open chords in lesson one.
