What the week looks like in Doha

Qatar's weekend is Friday and Saturday. That gives you two daytime blocks with no school or office. Friday mid-morning and Saturday are the two most popular days.

On weekdays, many families run on school buses and long afternoons indoors, especially in the hotter months. A 4 pm guitar lesson fits that pattern, since everyone is home anyway.

03

Students in Doha, Lusail, Al Wakrah and Al Khor

We teach students from across the country, so the district doesn't matter. What matters is a steady connection and a guitar at home. Students tell us they like the absence of a drive across the Corniche or through a busy intersection in the heat.

If you share a villa or compound with neighbours, check noise expectations. An acoustic guitar is usually fine in daytime and early evening.

04

How a lesson works

You join a link. The teacher watches both hands through your camera and corrects as you play. After the lesson you get a practice plan of 15 to 20 minutes a day. How online guitar lessons work covers camera angle and sound. Beginners learn two open chords in lesson one.

05

Fees and paying from Qatar

Prices are in Indian rupees.

Students in Qatar usually pay by PayPal or Wise, which convert from Qatari riyals at the day's rate. If your bank blocks either, tell us before booking and we'll check what's possible. There's no lock-in. See private online guitar lessons.

Children in Qatar

The minimum age is 8. A parent should stay close for the first few lessons. Many families are Indian-curriculum or international-school households, with busy afternoons, so book a regular slot early in term. See online guitar lessons for kids.

07

Songs and goals

Hindi film songs are common first requests. See Bollywood guitar lessons. Two siblings can share a lesson for ₹3,200 for four lessons; see online group guitar classes.

08

Exams

If your school enters students for Trinity or Rockschool grades, we teach the syllabus and prepare students for the exam. We aren't an exam centre, so ask your school or the board about availability in Qatar. See exam preparation.
